Genuine anamorphic cine glass is probably out of most young filmmaker's budgets. As a student, I have found that the Isco Micro anamorphic adaptor provides a solid 2x desqueeze and beautiful visuals. The adaptor is a repurposed anamorphic projector lens that fits onto the front of a taking lens. For taking lenses, I use a Rokinon 85mm f1.4 Cine (EF Mount) and vintage Nikkor 105mm f2.5 (F Mount).
